Stacy Abrams burned Georgia's State Flag on the steps of the Georgia Capital in 1993

Stacy Abrams past has come back to haunt her. During her time as a Spellman College student she burned the Georgia Flag. In 1993 she is documented on the steps of the Georgia Capital burning the State Flag. The article below was in the Atlanta paper. A close up of the picture shown clearly states that Stacey Abrams pictured and named on the steps of the capital.

There were actually two Georgia Flag burning events. My grandmother during the fight to save our Georgia Flag would cut out newspaper clippings and mail them to me. Below she writes AGAIN????

Two days later it happened again.

A close up of the picture shows what appears to be Stacy Abrams at the podium.

Finally is a recent Utube audio that has Stacy Abrams mother talking about her daughter burning the Georgia Flag and tearing down those "Racist Things"
AKA Stone Mountain.

To my fellow Georgians. We cannot have a Governor of our great state who has participated in such a egregious act on the steps of our Capital. If she gets in office the Carving of Stone Mountain with Lee, Davis and Jackson will be blasted off the mountain and it will be the end of our Confederate History in Georgia.

  1. This is nothing but hatred of people's heritage and history. Lots of people lost their lifes, not because they all had slaves, three quarter of the people in Ga.didn't own slaves, but stood their ground because the North invasion. Burning and pillage and loss of life of citizens, and rape, the saying in the North was putting all in the last ditch...

  4. 20 years ago +..... and this is what you do to people who work so hard to try to make changes. People change. If she had knew back then she would running for governor. She would have never done this. Past is past. But the future is a mystery. So VOTE FOR STACY ABRAMS. What she did in the past will not change my mind about her.

    1. I am sure nobody who supports Abrams will change their mind with my post but it sure will motivate Kemp Voters. My post has gone viral and I am very pleased with this. Our flag was changed by crooked politicians. The majority of Georgians did not want it changed. I am glad I was able to go back in my files and find this information. For her to burn a State flag on the steps of the capital is to show what kind of person she is. The past is a guide to the future. We will be celebrating Kemp's election and Abrams can personally thank me for sending this information around the State of Georgia after she loses.

    2. Funny...the liberals won't say the same thing about Trump, now will they??? I'm sure there's a lot of people that wouldn't have done stupid stuff 20+ years ago had they known they would be running for office! But they did, and it's part of who they are, and it's an indication of the kind of people they may very well be now. I don't want someone running MY state that is so against the HISTORY of my state.

    3. So why was it important what a man nominated for the Supreme Court did as a teenager? If he was accountable, Stacy Abrams is accountable.

  6. What? This is the old Georgia state flag. Why didn’t Georgia keep it as the state flag? Is it for the same reason they are burning it? I believe it is un-american that people cherish and proudly raise a flag that fought in 1 war. And that war was against my flag. Plus, her policies will benefit most of you eating this up. Wake up ppl. We need more white ppl to see wtf is going on. Past president Lyndon b Johnson said “ if you can convince the lowest white man he’s better than the best colored man, he won’t notice you’re picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he’ll empty his pockets for you.”

    1. LBJ also said " give the n!&&@*$ welfare and they'll vote democrat for the next hundred years the times now are different than they were back then. Today we are talking about voting a radical marxist into office who will destroy the great State of Georgia by bringing in hoards of illegal aliens, expanding government instead of streamlining it and taking us back 50+ years in the process.

  8. Unbelievable, and ahe has the audacity to run for public office, please. Wake the hell up people, the left ain't nothing but a bunch of liars. Just a few days ago, that POS Obama was in Nevada claiming that our present economy is because of the policies that he implemented, straight up. Bullshit. And as for as Obama having a Legacy, the only way he'll ever have one is he'll have to goto a Subaru dealership and buy one.....

    1. Can you tell me how Obama lies about starting our economy on a upward shift. In 2007 we were heading into depression, we were in a recession which was the economic state we have been in the past 60+ years. Banks were closing, car industry (to large to fail businesses had to get a bailout), gas prices were at an all time high. 2012 was the peak of this recession. Unemployment 16%, by the time Obama left office unemployment was at 6%. You are on here calling bullshit, but I bet you couldn’t find anything to back your post up.

  10. I dont support this women for our Governor but I will say, what's in the past should stay in the past. People make mistakes but they dont deserve to have them thrown back in their face years later. We have bigger issues than this to worry about.
